My personal and professional experience enable me to more effectively assist clients
I knew working in family law was my calling after experiencing how stressful divorce can be on an entire family. That experience showed me that it is essential for people to have a caring, strong, and smart team to advocate for them and their children.
After having my third child, I obtained my paralegal certificate and since then, I have spent most of my career working in family law. I continued my education and also became a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA) and completed Divorce Mediation training in 2020 at Northwestern University. In addition, I am constantly learning and staying up to date on relevant statutes, rules, guidelines, case law, and trends in family law.
My personal and professional experiences enable me to more effectively assist clients. My certifications and ongoing education allow me to provide high level analysis of financial issues in divorce and educate clients on how personal finances and divorce intersect. When I am getting to know clients, my support and compassion empowers them to cope with and manage their current situation. I’m honored to be part of this team that goes above and beyond for clients and genuinely understands the support people need to make the best decisions and achieve the most favorable outcomes.
I have been married for over 28 years and we have raised three children (26, 24 and 21). I enjoy cooking, reading, watching all types of sports (Go Cubs!), and traveling. Most importantly, I love spending time with my family.
